Refund Policy for Doctor Consultations

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which users (doctors and patients) may cancel services and request refunds on the Dr Portal platform. This Policy applies to all appointments, subscriptions, and services facilitated by Dr Portal through its website or mobile application.

1. Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling

1.1 By Patients

  1. Patients may cancel or reschedule an appointment at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time via the Platform.
  2. If a patient cancels within the permitted window, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
  3. No refunds will be issued for last-minute cancellations (i.e., less than 12 hours before the scheduled consultation) or missed appointments without prior notice.

1.2 By Doctors

  1. If a doctor cancels an appointment or fails to attend a scheduled session, the patient will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule without any extra cost.
  2. Repeated cancellations or no-shows by doctors may lead to suspension or penalties as per the Terms & Conditions.

2. Subscription Plans (For Doctors)

  1. Doctors who subscribe to premium visibility, teleconsultation, or practice management services may cancel their subscription by writing to [Support Email].
  2. If cancellation is requested within 7 days of payment, and the service has not been used, a 100% refund will be processed.
  3. No refund will be granted for cancellations after 7 days, or once the doctor has started using the subscribed services (e.g., received appointments, accessed analytics, etc.).

3. Technical Failure or Double Payments

  1. If a transaction fails but the amount is debited, users must notify us at support@drportals.com within 72 hours of the transaction.
  2. Upon verification, a refund will be initiated within 5–7 business days.
  3. If a user is charged more than once for the same service, the excess amount will be refunded after verification.

4. Refund Timelines

  1. All eligible refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment (Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking, etc.).
  2. Refunds will be processed within 5-7 working days from the date of approval.
  3. Dr Portal is not responsible for delays caused by the banking institution.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be applicable in the following cases:

    1. Patient dissatisfaction with medical advice or treatment outcome.
    2. Missed appointments or late logins.
    3. Violations of Terms & Conditions or Code of Ethics.
    4. Services already consumed or partially used.
    5. Promotional offers or discounted services (unless clearly mentioned).

7. Changes to this Policy
